My little turkey are here. They have a bit of a black pattern in their wing feathers which I like (I don't actually like the solid white ones, but white babies are the only babies available at this end of the season). Lucky doesn't seem that fussed, but then turkey don't seem to get excited about anything (unlike chicken chicks). It was difficult to get photos as the chicks have learnt they get attention and cuddles when the door opens, so you get a mob all climbing the door if they even think it's going to be opened.
Hence why this one was taken through the top. I was going to put the 4 large chicks and turkey together in one brooder and leave the bantams together but this tiny little OEGB chick adores Lucky and follows him everywhere.
And this is the beautiful Nutmeg. Of the 4 large chicks I can already tell that one is most definitely a boy and the other 3 are girls. The boys comb is already much bigger and redder, and he's hardly got any feathers yet, unlike the other 3. I could tell their father was a boy by 2 weeks old because of the comb and the lack of feathers.
