I got the igloo up just in time to see we're supposed to reach 20* today. I might have to ship that igloo over to @DigMyChicks, I think she's going to need it for a few days.



Glad you're getting a couple of days off work. Put the little ones to work, it builds character (at least, that's what my parents used to say to me).

I was just watching the weather. Snow and ice are not my thing and I’m glad I don’t have to deal with it. I remember enough from when I was a kid and I don’t like it. Child labor will be short lived. They have some things to clean up in the living room and play room, then homework. All. Day. Cuz I’m that mean Grammy that has to be a mom more often than not.

Not much happening here today, clean the kitchen and do laundry . I also have to get PT scheduled since we finally have a working truck.

I used to love when the grandkids lived here, Katrina loved to help with whatever I was doing. She'll be 5 in March, so I don't know how much help she would be now

Good news that you got the truck! I was thinking about that over the weekend and hoping you’d have wheels soon.
I think girls are different than boys. Hope still likes to help when she comes over. Dusting, vacuuming, etc. Katrina probably won’t grow out of that for a year or two.

Sorry about your loss Mad...the past year has truly been hard in that respect! We are driving my fil to a funeral for his sister at the end of the week & I don't know if we will even be able to go in!

Thank you. It almost felt unreal when she passed since; not doing all the things we're use to as a family, especially during times like these.
hopefully you'll have a chance to go in.

Losing people here as well. 4 suicides and 4 deaths this past year or so. Will this misery ever end.

I will be baking a loaf of pullman bread tomorrow

They actually live with us now. My husband has Alzheimer's. He's declined enough that our son and his wife thought it would be a good idea to come help us out. I can't tell you what an excellent idea that was! Having someone to talk to is help in itself. I am having some health problems, they help me get to some dr. appts. Such wonderful kids. . Thank you for the compliment on our little guy. We think he's adorable.. of course!

that's so nice that they moved in. Although your DH's health has declined, hopefully some of the quality time with family so closely will help.
