The tail wagging is so cute! My son had Muscovy but the females were killed by the neighbors dogs when they dug under the fence so the male split. They bought some Ancona ducklings though and my DIL wants to add some Runners also. My son was disappointed with the Muscovy though because they don’t quack.
 
Good morning all!

A little update on the necropsy results: The pathologist said she died from Lymphoma. Her intestines were the worst with tumors in various places. He said two likely causes of this are Avian Leukosis and Mareks. He is going to send a tissue sample to Mississippi State to run a PCR test. This test looks for a genome sequence specific to Mareks. The hope is that we can rule out Mareks to better pinpoint what I might be dealing with. Those results should be back sometime next week. It is quite an unfortunate situation. However, as of right now, everyone else is doing very well!

I don’t know for sure. He’s a mix of two breeds and Runners are considered to be light weight so he may not. I thought the guy told me he’s two years old but maybe not.

Glad to hear everyone else is doing fine. Hope it isn't Mareks and someone can give you more information to keep the rest of the flock healthy.
