Other than planting some basil and lettuce seeds, I think DH is going to take it easy on me today. Of course, it helps because he's as sore as I am right now

Catio work in progress...our 3 house cats are going to love this! They'll be able to go in and out via a cat door in a window (using their cat tower to reach the window) and they'll be safe from dogs, cars, and getting lost.

I have 2 kinds, Black Seeded Simpson and Bibb.

Yep, the whole little house is brick. Built in 1956, it's been though a lot but by the time we're done fixing it up, it should be good for many more years.

I had to look them up. I have never grown lettuce. I bought this packet to try.

I've never tried that one before, hope it does well for you!

We have a very short growing season here. The 2 kinds I got should let me get something from them and maybe even plant more than once.
