Hi DMC It can be hard to get things done with a 2 year old, but a 2 day work week isn't so bad!

Meant to add a note of thanks to the gardeners that said to cover my plants yesterday.

I left the watering can out with some water in it...there was a light covering of ice on top of it this morning.

This is almost May, right?

I just went and got my garden plants and the flowers that I really wanted. I waited too long last year and everything was picked over. We aren’t planting until the weekend. Hubby is starting to plant field corn today.

I bought green pepper and cherry tomato and regular tomato and big daddy onion plants plus seed potato and my super petunias and some spike plants. I’ll get more flowers but I am waiting until Mother’s Day as my boy’s will get me gift certificates. $140 for these 2 boxes and 4 bags of dirt. The dirt was even on sale
