Today I'm turning a blind eye to the 30-something degrees coming up nightly for about a week

I totally understand
I just hung laundry on the line. Dumb on my part as there’s tractors kicking up dust in the fields around me....and I’m going to hang moreI love sitting on the deck listening to the laundry snap on the lines and the birds singing.

That just sounds so peaceful

I just came in from the back porch, lots of good bird watching there. I put up a feeder for them about a week ago and they are starting to figure out that it's there.

That will be good entertainment for you...and your cats if they can see the bird feeder. I used to have them but the sparrows would wade in it and use their beaks to toss it all over the ground and then the chickens enjoyed it too.

The cats can see the wild birds from the catio (at least the 2 cats that use it). I probably enjoy seeing the birds at least as much as the cats

I love going to my sisters house up North. She feeds her birds and gets the pretty ones.

I had a lot of bird feeders when we lived in Florida. My favorites were the cardinals, we don't have them up here but the others are nice.

I love Cardinals! She gets Cardinals on occasion. She gets Orioles, Hummers, Blue Birds, Nuthatch and Grosbeaks for sure.
