Good morning, Everyone went to a baseball game yesterday 40 - 50 mph winds- froze our butts off. It was a pitcher's battle, but top of the sixth inning score was 10/4 in favor of grandson's team. Grandson was pulled due to pitch count 2 outs and no one on base. One and a half innings and 3 pitchers later they lost 12/10.

Perhaps. The Princess is going back for more punishment this afternoon. I'm going to stay home to pick up branches and mow the front lawn. Right now that sounds like more fun.

I remember back when that was a thing and we’d celebrate at school with a May pole and the towns would have a parade or a carnival. Th n we moved to CA and the folks there didn’t have a clue. I was appalled.

I remember how it was when we were stationed in Germany, that was a lot of fun to watch. I do remember it when growing up as well

Good morning folks

I had a lot of bird feeders when we lived in Florida. My favorites were the cardinals, we don't have them up here but the others are nice.

Debby, I'll mention you to the cardinals. They and the little brown birds must have decided I'm not a threat. Just yesterday one of the girls landed about a foot away from me on the deck rail and chattered at me. Guess it's time to replace and fill the feeder. One of my girl hummers chewed me out yesterday as well. More feeders to fill.

When I was a kid, we'd make construction paper baskets and fill them with flowers from Mom's garden. Then we'd slip them on neighbor's front door knob, ring the bell and run. It was fun to see the surprised faces of the older folks in the neighborhood.

I suppose those Ring cameras would catch me now.
