Hey, are you anywhere close to the Pine Barrens? Yesterday I saw a show about the Jersey Devil that supposedly lives there and thought of you.

Pine Barrens are about an hour drive South of here, and contrary to all rumors I am NOT the Jersey Devil.

Pine Barrens are subject to periodic wild fires. There was one ongoing there yesterday.

How long does it take you to make that many cookies?

I’m going to do it in 2 days. I’ll bake and freeze them this coming weekend as that takes several hours. It will take several hours to frost also.

I’m afraid that would raise my stress to a whole new level I better tell my friend this is not a free cookie order. When my friends sister died last fall I made a bunch for the family. The niece loved them and asked my friend if I’d make them for her graduation.

Yep, sort of like that. The story I saw said there was a woman that was worn out pregnant with her 13th child and cursed it. The baby came out with a goat head and wings. And red eyes. Supposedly sightings have occurred over the years.

I would hope that is not a free cookie order! That's a lot of work and ingredients.
