The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

If she's a stinker at age 2, wait until she's about 13!
She’ll be just like her mom :gig She’s got baby number 3 on the way and it’s another girl. She will not be a happy child. Mom is a little worried. This mom graduated with my oldest son. I did not like her growing up. Having children changed her. When I heard she was starting at daycare as a teacher and I’d be working with her I was not thrilled. We ended up working well together.

What are your normal temps?
Today will be 79F. Normal is 82F. Last year it was 75F and the record high is 102F

This time of year, we normally go up to 95 or so. In July, august and Sept, we can go over 110F for a high and usually have two or three days of that in a row. Each summer we seem to be hotter with more days over 100F.

Having kids can give a person a whole new take on life, that's for sure.

So does that mean at some point you'll have 3 little red heads to handle a couple times a week?

No way! I love them but that’s too many. I hope she has another redhead. She is not going back to work at daycare after this baby. She’s been ready to quit since before I left. I’m watching her girls because she does not want them at daycare anymore. Her mom watches them the other 3 days.

It doesn't sound like things have gotten any easier at the day care I take it. That's too bad, working parents need good places for their kids.

The 2 year old is a stinker. She was at daycare also.
So you DIDN'T escape by leaving the daycare!

Same here only change that to 90F. Back in the early 80's it rarely hit 90 more than once or twice a year. Seems like I'm later years it is several times a month through the summer.

DW is the same, I can handle up to 80 but I'll be hunting shade.

Let’s just say the stress load is less:lol:

So I like to tell the comical story of my neighbor's trampoline flying across the highway. Very funny ha ha ha.... maybe I shouldn't laugh. A 71mph wind gust caught ours and sent it across the yard. Pulled the stakes right out of the ground. It missed my head by literally a hair. (It brushed the top of my head) It ended up snagged on a t-post on the chicken run. That was way more excitement than I really wanted. :th
