Yay! There is nothing like a home grown tomato.

Oh I don't have tomatoes or even flowers on the plants yet...but the plants are green and alive

I told DH last week I could have bought a lot of store tomatoes and peppers already from what I've spent on these darned plants. They better give me something for the effort!

It’ll happen soon I’m sure. I think I’d rather spend a little more and grow them myself for the taste factor alone. Store tomatoes aren’t great, no flavor really.

You're totally correct about the homegrown tomatoes tasting better. Hopefully I'll end up with some.

The heat is starting to bother me. It did not when I was younger but age will change things!

I tolerate heat better then humidity. The older I get the less I can handle the wind, especially in my ears.

The pandemic has quickened a lot of trends that were already in place. Camping is one of them for sure!

Remote work too. I will be interested to see how many in my office will be working remotely when we open back up

I bought a tomato yesterday for my BLT. It wasn’t bad. Darn thing cost $1.00

donrae from the leukemia thread died from a fungal infection while waiting for a bone marrow transplant.

compromised immune systems are a bad situation for sure

Are you excited to go back to work at your office? I wish life would return to normal.

I will be happy to get back but will need to do a lot of work on equipment that has not been used in a year and a half.
