Doing ok down here! Are you getting the summer rains up there? We are getting some but if course not nearly enough.

We've had a few days of rain, but not as much as we need. I'll take it though.

The last year and two years ago had a lot of wines from Napa messed up by the smoke.

When they find batches that are ruined, they do not sell them.

The year and region makes a big difference in wine in general but being ruined by smoke is not normal at all!

Very interesting, and costly I imagine.

DRex (6y.o.): I like chicken but I didn't want chicken because pork is my favorite.

Good morning everyone. The crop duster has been flying over my house for about the last hour. He's spraying a field to the north of me. My chickens are convinced the end has come, and my pup is trying to catch it.

Do you suppose your pup would know what to do with the crop duster if he ever caught him?

Sadly, no I haven't most days the pain in my right side is too much and I don't feel like doing very much. I need to just suck it up and start painting. My hands still shake as well, so there's that to consider.

I was carrying the vacuum cleaner up the stairs and one of our cats hissed at it!
