When my son went to college he asked why we had to clean it so good when he moved out as it wasn’t very clean when he moved in. His roommates mom said to just leave it. We got the whole damage deposit back plus interest. Roommate and his mother did not help but stood there for his portion of the damage deposit. The landlord asked if they hired a professional cleaner…no just an anal mother🤣

Debby, is right about leaving a place cleaner than you got it. Maybe the landlord learned something as well.
