My Sister that lives in Redding CA said that it is like Armageddon there. They are getting smoke from three fires as well as triple digit heat!

I feel bad for your sister!!

Have any of you ever spent hours looking for that one particular piece of paper? And you can find all sorts of things that are almost what you want, but not exactly?

Apparently when I retired from working in an office I gave up on filing anything in it's place. I can find old Christmas cards, pay stubs from a job 8 years ago, oil change receipts on a car I don't have anymore, tax papers for the past 11 years and utility receipts for every month for ages. But not the one stinking piece of paper I need. Ugh!

Been there and done that. Are you throwing as you go so you don’t have as much to go thru next time?

Holy cats, I found it!! Buried in with some wrapping paper and maps...my marriage certificate!

Whew, I'm framing this sucker and hanging it on the wall so I don't lose it again.

Good news

There is a bad valve in the furnace so he ordered one. Not the news I was hoping for. If the part comes in the morning he may be able to fix it by the afternoon. Sounds like it could take awhile.

On Saturday I'll be looking at a fifth wheel camper I'm excited about. Looks pretty decent from the pictures but just want to make sure there is no water damage or anything bad in person

Maybe to her place in the Mountains but it is close to one of the fires and the well has gone dry for the first time in 25 years! The drought is terrible!

They stay inside with the AC running for the most part. N95 masks outside of course.
