Wonderful day over here my dishwasher decided to stop working so I'm currently in the middle of washing everything by hand.
Gonna start picking the kids up from school in about an hour. Hoping to make some progress by then

Good afternoon (evening?) to you. It's a very grey day here and it's supposed to rain. We've been having pretty good weather the last week so at least DH has got the weed spraying done. It's very satisfying to see them all curling up and dying.

I agree about the dying weeds, DH is good at killing them off. Of course, now my yard has bare spots in it but at least it isn't weedy

You tell those mamas to get it in gear, we need to see some baby pics!

Once the carrot weed dies off we will have some rather large bare patches too.

I've been giving those girls a daily pep talk. But even the one with a huge udder looks to still be carrying too high (apparently once the lamb drops into position they get a hollow in front of their hips, but then Google said 2-4 weeks after the udder starts to grow they should lamb and that hasn't happened, so we shall see). The weather isn't going to be great this week with potential thunder for 3 days, so the one that looks like she'll pop first will probably choose the worst day to give birth.

That part there about the hollow in front of their hips is the way it is with goats. That's what always told us when ours were ready to kid.

You're probably right about choosing the worst weather day to give birth...somehow they know to make it inconvenient

Yeah I checked out a book on criminal law. I'm into history books but didn't find much of them. Unless I was just looking in the wrong spot which could happen knowing me

So sorry about your dishwasher! I almost feel guilty; I use mine about once a month. It's just me and the hubby. When we have company, we use disposables.
