It's a cold, rainy day here...we're only going to get into the mid-40's. I was going to run some errands but have zero desire to get outside now.

Guess I'll stay in and celebrate the National holiday

We have a high of 87 today. 4 days in a row of high heat

Yes it is, I think that's why I had trouble sleeping last night. I'm excited to see him! He got to Cheyenne yesterday to spend a few days with my mom and nephew and should be at my house Saturday or Sunday.

Well, I could say it's post menopause, but I didn't have this extra poundage pre-coffee.

Yes it is, I think that's why I had trouble sleeping last night. I'm excited to see him! He got to Cheyenne yesterday to spend a few days with my mom and nephew and should be at my house Saturday or Sunday.

We have a high of 87 today. 4 days in a row of high heat

I think our high heat is ready to vacate. Our high is 84 today, and thunderstorms are predicted for today and through the weekend.

Thanks DMC, I think so! What with covid and restrictions last year, he couldn't come out so it's been 2 years. DH and I got the spare bedroom fixed up for him, so by the boy coming, we got that project finally finished. Nothing like company coming to get some house projects finished

I can’t imagine going that long without seeing my boys. Nice that your project is done! I’m hoping we can get our new flooring in after harvest so we can finish up the trim on the mud room. That is driving me crazy. I know it will be stressful and hubby is dreading it…so am I.

Home projects can be stressful, especially when they drag of forever. But your new flooring and trim will look so nice when it's finished!
