The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning/afternoon everyone :)

I like the scent to go with the season. Makes me feel more festive

I agree. I had no attachment when I paid her (the car) off, 3 years after I purchased. All the memories though make her irreplaceable.

It was both the break pads and the rotors and I opted for the part to come from Nissan, which was more expensive.
The other issues that need to be fixed: back breaks need to be cleaned, timing cover seeping, transmission pan seeping, front right axle seeping, and the front struts and rear shocks are original.
They said it wasnt necessary to fix at this point but more so to be aware of.
135K miles.

I'm so glad I noticed that "chirp" in time. One of my fears is something happening on the road, while I'm with the kiddos. I am not car savvy and I wouldnt know what means what.

Hi Mad, hope your day is terrific!

Still waiting on Clara to have her lamb/s. She waggled her tail today and her back end all shook like jelly so all her ligaments etc must be relaxed and ready to let baby/ies through. It's been 6 weeks since her udder started to grow so I'm getting impatient.

Here are the other three cuties though:

Hope everyone has a great Friday.
You are seriously a great photographer. These pictures are great, Jae! You must be busy with all these babies being born :)

Totally terrific! The weather is perfect, the family is healthy, no room to complain... life is good :)
Hows your fri-yay treating you so far?

So far, my day is going well, thanks!

My son is supposed to get here sometime tomorrow so I'm working on some last minute stuff to get ready. :D

Debby have a ton of fun with your son. Once our kids grow up, we see them so little. Life just gets in the way.

I had to have the talk with my Mom the other night. She needs to be somewhere where a responsible adult can check on her regularly. She had a stroke a few days ago and we were lucky that My cousin called her and knew something was wrong.

Sorry to hear about your mother Bob. Is she far away from you & Sue? Hope she'll be ok.

I have a good camera. I love the 'action' mode.

My cockatiels are laying eggs and one pair is sitting already. Can't wait to see what hatches out this year. But then I'll be really busy as I'll be hand rearing most of them to sell. I already have people waiting.

Still no new lambs.

Mine is a Nissan too. I have to say that it has been a relatively great car. I have almost 200,000 miles on it and it has never given me any problems.
You're welcome Janie :lau
I really appreciate the laugh, honest. I spent the whole day in the ER with my MIL. She fell again, and apparently hit her head this time.
She has a hematoma on her brain. We will know tomorrow whether it will have to be drained. They told me that she has apparently hit her head several times in the past, because she has had healed contusions.
Fortunately, the step daughters are coming in tomorrow to sit with her for a while.
In the meantime, I've brought her 17 year old cat home with me. I'm having to keep her in a seperate room because she has a bad hip. I'm afraid one of the other animals might injure her.

I hope the situation works out, so that she is safe and feels content. It is so hard to lose one's independence.
