Good morning everyone! I'm dropping in quickly to say hello.
I'm behind on greetings, but I'm not even trying to catch up, at this point. MIL is doing ok, though still confused. My part time job takes more hours than I anticipated, but I was assured that, that is temporary.

Good morning Debby. Thank you, it’s a good feeling when that’s done. Both boys are still working for their local farmers. One hauls sugar beets(he has his own semis)and they have to wait on that cuz it’s too warm to start piling so he’s helping with corn. Beets are stressful and they go on very little sleep. It makes me sick to my stomach sometimes thinking about it.
Younger son works his full time job plus chisel plows after that until midnight. On the weekend he hauls corn. This farmer has a couple thousand acres of corn.

I've got say, I admire their work ethic!

I think they are as good as you can get with fish . You are allowed to fish for them in the lake but they have limits per person on the boat . Canada still allows commercial fishing in Lake Eire , since we no longer have a boat, we buy them that are shipped from Canada . Yellow Perch ! . I have raised some from eggs , they lay eggs in what is called a ribbon ,similar to a string of toad eggs . You can transport a ribbon to a pond shortly after they are laid and they will hatch in their new home .I took a couple ribbons to a friends pond and a year later he called and said he caught a perch in his pond .

Lol. @bruceha2000 is right, I'd certainly be scared to cook them. There is no way that my cooking would do justice to an expensive meal like that.
We have cheap perch in our pond, along with catfish and bass. Seldom, does anyone fish here. I buy our catfish at HEB and our chicken too. I guess we are waiting until the food shortage to eat our own. My brother makes (very) excellent sausage and pork loin from the deer and wild boar though. We eat plenty of that.

It was raining here when I got up and the forecast says it's going to keep raining all day. Our high today is predicted to be 57*. And the snow is still in the forecast for Tuesday/Wednesday

Been so busy with the whole work situation. Here it is:

I asked my boss to find a time to talk about work and she was avoiding it for awhile cause she knows I don't want to work there much anymore so then finally she picks the busiest day and time to sit down and talk. It was homecoming and everyone wanted pizza so the kitchen was crazy and as Lead Cook I was supposed to be in there but she pulled me aside during the whole rush.

When I finally got to talk to her I told her I was thinking about leaving and it was cause of my shift manager and the advances he's been making towards me. I told her that he was making sexual comments to me in front of everyone and was making me VERY uncomfortable. I told her he keeps texting me and calling me then gets upset when I don't answer him which I never gave him my number he found it on the wall.

I also told her that he was acting like we were dating and was getting super jealous at any coworker I talked to cause they were a guy. It was ridiculous then he would be a super a-hole just cause I was talking to my coworker. Heck he would yell at me and them if I was helping them do their job (meanwhile I help him do his job all the time). He got to the point he was kicking doors open and throwing stuff around and cursing at me over a MOP.

So with that being I said I told her all that and she said she would go grab him and bring him over and we can all sit and talk together which was the last thing I wanted to do cause I was going to be stuck with me for 6 HOURS that night after she leaves. So then she makes the comment "I'm having trouble believing any of this"......

YOU CAN ASK THE WHOLE KITCHEN. All the staff sees it and knows it goes on! I was so frustrated that she was taking his side and defending him. I then went home and told my parents and they told me to quit that job. The next day I went in she goes around the kitchen making jokes about our conversation! I was like are you kidding me?

Long story short I didn't show up for another shift cause I was so upset with the whole situation.

She needs some HR training before someone files a lawsuit. One of the worst thing that a small business owner can do, is to belittle an employee, when informed of a sexuall harassment situation. I would document everything, and take it to a lawyer. I'm not a proponent of lawsuits, however her attitude, makes our business HR laws harder on every business.

Thanks you . I face a horrible week this week . We have to go make arrangements for my wife's passing . We don't know how long she will be with us . They haven't got her pills approved yet . I guess we all have to go home someday

Our latest prediction is showing around 9" of snow starting tomorrow morning and we won't be out of the 30's until Saturday.

NopeIt’s beautiful out right now. I just went for a 2 mile walk and it was perfect…other then the flies. I would like a frost to take care of some of the bugs.
