That seems odd they didn't test your son's friend the first time he went to the doc. I would think that would be their first reaction. Hope your son will be ok and doesn't get it.

I would too! This friend has been hauling beets for my son and took a day off to go to a party and be a DD. I’m betting he wished he had worked instead.
Hubby was supposed to have ear surgery this week but switched it as he’s still helping son haul sugar beets. One place tells him he needs to be Covid tested the next one says he doesn’t. It’s like the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Surgery is now in January. We’ll see what happens.
