Hi Debby!
I would too! This friend has been hauling beets for my son and took a day off to go to a party and be a DD. I’m betting he wished he had worked instead.
Hubby was supposed to have ear surgery this week but switched it as he’s still helping son haul sugar beets. One place tells him he needs to be Covid tested the next one says he doesn’t. It’s like the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Surgery is now in January. We’ll see what happens.

The one hand not knowing what the other is doing seems like a routine thing any more. I talked to my mom yesterday, she's supposed to have surgery this month and was told by the hospital it was cancelled and the docs office said it wasn't.

I hope no one gets anything but a mild case. Any idea where it came from?

No idea. I've been mind-boggled trying to figure that one out since I'm pretty cautious.
There was a student in my sons class who went home on Thursday due to feeling sick but, nothing was said if it had worsened or if she had COVID.
I do wonder if parents are reporting less because I haven't heard of any cases at the schools but the boys have told me when someone goes home sick.

It feels pretty mild, thankfully

My son was exposed last Friday for many hours. His friend went to the doctor and they said he had bronchitis. He wasn’t feeling any better with meds and went back and tested positive. Why they didn’t test him right away makes no sense. We’ll see how we turn out here. We’re starting to see more cases. It’s been pretty calm.

That's strange they wouldnt test him right away - seems like protocol in a lot of places now to test before. Hope he recovers and it skips your house though!

Started feeling ill out of nowhere yesterday so, I got tested just in case. Got my results back today, positive then my oldest son started feeling sick today.
Thankfully we're not suffering but I hope it passes.

Good morning folks

I started a new job a week ago Monday as a Para at the elementary here. I am in the 1st grade and so far it’s going ok. I really like my kids. The ones I help have learning issues and not behavior. Hours are great and I get my summers off.
Have a good day. My break is about over.
