Question to you that grown annuals...do you pull up the dead plants before winter?

I have some Bachelor Buttons and Marigolds that are over for the year but I keep seeing little sparrows messing around in the dead plants. I guess they're picking at the seed heads so was thinking about just leaving the plants for the birds.

I usually do. This is the first year I didn’t along the chicken coop and in the retaining wall.

An addicting one similar to Hobby Lobby. They don’t have all the craft stuff though.

When I told my kids about picking the catawba worms off the trees and using them for fishing bait, they didn't believe me. In Colorado we have the trees but we don't get the worms.

I went to the grocery store yesterday but when I got home found out I'd accidentally picked up a bag of whole coffee beans (the grinder is at the company house). So today I get to go back to the store again, yay
