Hope you don't end up with icy roads.

I've been hearing from several people in various parts of the country that they're having warmer than usual Decembers.

I saw that on the news last night... along with Kentucky's destruction Then found a clip from people chasing the tornadoes from the other day; learned storm chasers have vehicles that can withstand 200mph winds.

Yup, back to normal... The terrain here is not conducive to tornadoes, so we're pretty safe.

That sounds great. How long since that much snow has fallen up there? Hope it comes through

Last year at this time there was bare ground at some of the spots they measure the snow pack. What we did get was about 59% of normal. Then the ground in the foot hills leading to the streams was very dry so most of the runoff was absorbed into the ground.

Hopefully there will be more snow and more saturated ground for runoff in the Spring.

Looks like you'll be plenty cold enough soon!

We will have three mornings in a row starting tomorrow morning with a low of 32F.
