The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Just remembered that I wanted to ask all of you that take pets to the vet...

Opie's asthma medicine was finally ready to be picked up yesterday from the pharmacy. I had to sign HIPPA paperwork for him. Is that something new? I laughed when they asked me to sign it but they said it's because pets are considered part of the family and are entitled to the same health privacy as humans.
Are you kidding? This is really a thing?

Whatta day!!! Shortly after I got up, Wade (our contractor) got here. He’s been tied up on a modular finishing job in Greybull for most of the last couple of weeks. We were fine with that because I know how hard it was for me to have to wait until we could get into ours. Ours is livable, despite some fine tuning that still has to be done….those other people deserve to get into theirs before the weather gets bad again.

Ken, Tam, and I had our appointments to get our taxes done in Cody today. I told him we had to leave at noon and he said he’d be out of our hair by then. Anyway, he comes in with his buckets and short ladder and starts getting at the caulking, resetting one door that wasn’t closing right, and little things like that. Then he told us that was it inside for the day. When we left he had loaded up his tools and stuff and was sitting in his truck eating his lunch. We waved and took off.

We came home to our beautiful porch, all done and looking amazing! You might remember that I didn’t want rails on the porch. I was wrong - dead wrong!! It. Looks. Fantastic! It absolutely makes the whole porch look so classy and finished! He was still here cleaning marks off the rails. He looked so proud of it. I told him I thought he said he was done here for today. He said, “No, I said I was done INSIDE for the day. You were leaving and I didn’t want to be in your house when you weren’t here, so I ran to the storage unit (that’s where he stores the stuff for our house so he doesn’t have to run back to his shop 60 miles away to get what he needs) and got the rails. I figured it was nice enough outside to get this done for you.” What do you guys think?
