They won the first game 5/4 bottom of the 9th inning. We did not stay for the second game. See on their website that they lost 2/0. The other team was made up of very capable hitters.

Sorry about the second game. But the first one we will celebrate. The weather seems to play a role in everything. I send some luck your way.

Sorry about the second game. But the first one we will celebrate. The weather seems to play a role in everything. I send some luck your way.

For us it's not so much about the winning as seeing good play. Both teams played well yesterday. Grandson is competitive and wants to win, but handles/accepts defeat well. His older brother and sister - not so well. One was a wrestler and the other a soccer player. The athletic genes come from our SIL.
