For us it's not so much about the winning as seeing good play. Both teams played well yesterday. Grandson is competitive and wants to win, but handles/accepts defeat well. His older brother and sister - not so well. :lau One was a wrestler and the other a soccer player. The athletic genes come from our SIL.

Good morning, folks!!

Happy birthday, @janiedoe!! Glad those beans got spilled!

We had snow really coming down overnight Friday night and into late morning Saturday. By Saturday afternoon the sun was out, and this morning there’s no sign we even got any!

Katie and Evan had a Speech and Debate meet in Worland yesterday. Evan bombed out early. He‘s in the Congress category where he has to argue for or against a piece of proposed legislation. He still hasn’t learned to argue convincingly for something when he really believes in the other side but has to debate the opposite. Katie did amazing. She had 32 kids in her category and she’s never had that many to compete against. The most there’s been before was 10. But she made it all the way to semi-finals and ended up in a 5 way tie in points. She didn’t make it to Finals but she’s thrilled with how well she did. Next weekend is State. She qualified but Evan didn’t. He’s still planning to go to support Katie, though.

We still have snow coming down Blooie, wanna trade? There's another 5" expected Tues/Wed too. Guess what's one thing I'm not going to pack when it comes time to move? My shovel!

We lived here 15 years before we ever even used a shovel. Up until then, all we had to do was use a broom and sweep it off.
