Thanks, for the kind words for Tammy and for Katie and Isabelle. They had one heck of weekend!! Tam’s really enjoying painting. This will be the 4th “Tammy Painting” to be hung in the new house.
The Speech team had quite an adventure last night. They went to State in Riverton using one of those small school busses. On the way home, they hit a deer near Worland. Nobody was hurt, thank goodness, but once involved in any kind of collision, busses are not permitted to continue on transporting kids. So they had to call up here for a replacement bus, find a driver that late, and send that bus down to Worland. That’s about 2 hours from here. The driver of the first bus did limp to a nearby driveway that led into a field, parked there across that driveway so the disabled bus would at least be off the highway, and they sat and waited for rescue. By the time the kids were loaded onto the new bus, they were into the wee hours of the morning. Kids finally made it home a little after 3:00 am. What an ending to a great State meet!!
Katie and Angelina were supposed to be dropped off in Lovell and Jenny was going to go pick them up. Usually Katie sends her mom a text as soon as they are close to Lovell and the timing works out perfectly - Jen is there waiting for Katie. Tam and I were worried that Jen might fall asleep and not hear the text. Tam was staying awake waiting for Evan, of course, and I was up because I’m always up. So we decided that if Jen didn’t answer Katie’s text because she was asleep, Katie and Angelina would just walk to Tam’s house with Evan and wait for me there. Evan only lives 2 blocks from the high school. Wasn’t necessary - Jen picked the girls up at Tammy’s and it all ended well. But the three kids were exhausted….it was a stressful weekend for them and they were all tired anyway. Last thing they needed was a 4 hour delay in getting home.
Congrats!! One down, championship to go!!Good morning, Everyone.
Congratulations to Katie and Isabelle.
Grandson's team is in an 8 game tournament in Fla. over the next 6 days. First game was last night at 8:30 to 11:30. They won 6/3. Grandson played well at shortstop but went hitless.
