Good morning, my friend! Plan to do absolutely nothing today. Doin’ nuthin’ is hard work - ya can’t stop to rest!

It is beautiful here. It’s only 46 but the sun is powerful on the deck. High of 50 today. I hand washed my car this morning. It was a bit chilly. I swept out the garage too. If I finish the laundry I’ll consider it a productive day. The Robin’s have arrived.

Ruby, our boxer girl kept ripping nails out. She is missing one nail from each of 3 of her paws. We had her thyroid levels checked to make sure her brittle nails weren't hormone related. She was fine.
I hope your fur baby heals quickly.

I’ll keep that in mind Janie, thanks! Their leashes have traffic handles and I think she caught it on Franks when we let them off leash at the park. Otherwise no issues with her nails typically.

She’s home. She didn’t place in Districts, but that’s okay. She went solo and she competed for her team and for herself. She won it all as far as I’m concerned. I think that she’s done incredibly well, especially for only being a Freshman. Now all the pressure of Speech competition and FBLA competition is over and she can decompress a little. Then she can dive into what she really loves - her part in this year’s school play.

Yep, Katie’s coming home…..an absolute winner in anyone’s books…..and we’re all so proud of her!
