G’morning all. Happy Friday. Just got home from picking up a uhaul truck; when the boy and my granddaughter get here we’re going to my moms to clean out two sheds and haul stuff back here for a yard sale next weekend. It’s hard going through your parents stuff, so many memories! I’m inheriting the beloved waffle maker and her big stand mixer with all the attachments a person could possibly need. Huge bonus for me, my dogs like homemade chicken jerky and the meat grinder attachment is great for that. One of
My dads most prized possessions was an egg plate for picnic eggs. It’s so pretty and holds a ridiculous amount of eggs, can’t wait to bring it home!

My grandpa ate the same breakfast every day:
Sausage fried with extra lard, 6 eggs fried with lard, then he'd add ketchup to the lard and soak it up with a half dozen biscuit (that were baked with lard) He ate any leftovers for lunch.
He always had an orange crush soda with his breakfast.
