I have a couple loads of laundry to do and some cleaning.
We went to see my sisters yesterday. One was staying at the others for a week so it was nice to see them both.
I got my eyes checked after that. I’ve been needing new glasses and finally got my hiney in. They are Progressive. It will be an adjustment! I can see to read up close if I take my glasses off. It’s a pain at school. I can’t see the board real clear either. I wanted to try daily contacts and they had my strength in stock in a 10 day pack. I don’t think they will work for me. I had them in high school and they bothered my eyes. I will wear them until they’re gone as I’m not throwing $50 out the window. My eye health was great. I hadn’t been there for almost 6 years so I was a little nervous
What are you up to today?
Will you be moving during the summer? I was telling my friend that you are moving. I told her we need to go visit you. She said she’ll book the flight. She is in Florida right now for a mini vacation.

I need to get serious about taking care of more boxes, I've been sort of slacking the past 2 days. My mom has been in the hospital and is now in a rehab facility, she needs therapy for an arm/shoulder issue (hopefully for a short term) so there have been lots of phone calls.

I still don't know when I'm moving, so in the meantime, I'm just going to pack everything but essentials.

I'm sorry about your mom, Debby. I hope she recovers quickly. Is she in Florida?
Our old house "sold" almost as soon as we put it on the market. I packed everything. Then the buyers' financing fell through. So I unpacked a few things. It finally sold again three weeks before our new house was completed. It was rough. I'd go to storage every now and again to get a pair of shoes or something, just to see my things.

We got up to 86f yesterday. I think we have some high 30s at night, but no freezing weather ahead.

I'm sure you'll get used to your progressives.

Hi Janie! They said it will take a few weeks to adjust If I hate them I have 100 days to return them. It was over $900 with an exam. I’m glad I took out insurance and I get a $500 FSA through the school so I didn’t pay anything. Hubby is on my insurance also and was going to get his eyes checked yesterday. Someone forgot to put his name on the policy so I have to contact the person in charge. I’m glad they caught it before he had anything done.

Hopefully you can get that insurance straight soon.
I hope you can adjust to your new glasses quickly. For me, It was nauseating at first. I wasn't sure I'd be able to wear them. I had to drive with my old ones for a couple of weeks. That's probably why it took me so long to adjust to the new ones.
