A lady is supposed to be picking up my flock in a little while. Sort of a bittersweet thought. I'm glad to get a response to my multiple ads and that they'll get a new home. But I'm going to miss them. This could be the very end of having chickens for me.

I’m all done too, Debby. It hurts, but there just comes a time….sometimes I’m not even sure why I still hang around here, but then I figure that just because the chickens are gone doesn’t mean the friendships have to go too. I hope you’ll feel that way about us!

We're doing well, she's freezing as temp outside is dropping like a rock. She started a fire a bit ago so that should fix it.

Thanks Ron. Who knows what the future will bring. Until I can nail DH's feet to the ground, I don't want to go through raising them just to give them up again (this is the 2nd time).

Omg! I paid $52 for that little bag of food. Mercy. They better eat it! Mine love fancy feast in the cans and Rachel Ray's dry food.
The storm blew right over us. We did get a good bit of rain early this morning.

Mine wouldn’t eat it. I hope your kitty feels better soon.

I made cupcakes when I got home. One of the teachers ordered Pokémon ball cupcakes for her little guy. I had leftover frosting and cupcakes so made these swirled ones. They are so pretty in person.
