I 'm praying. I set traps all around hoping to keep the coons away but these varmints are so smart I have actually witnessed one climb a tree some 6 ft. away work their way out to the end of a branch and jump into the enclosure. How do they know to do that?

I don't know how wild waterfowl manage to exist, much less reproduce.
Our neighbor has wild geese laying and sitting beside his pond every year. Most manage to hatch their offsprings with no trouble. It is amazing.

I googled and listened. Apparently we have them too. I swear, I've never seen them on trees.
