He has a little cold, so he isn't sleeping very good. Plus he had a big day today.. er, yesterday. His sister Layla came over from Denver to meet him.

I'm going to have to break down and go grocery shopping

Not sure Debby! Yesterday I sat on the couch all day reading a book, napping, and in between doing laundry. I better get something accomplished today. I still have 2 loads of towels to wash.
Do you go to Walmart? Grocery shopping is my least favorite thing to do.

Ouch. They aren't used to getting beat like that. Hopefully the games went better today.

I didn't attend because I was helping at a basset field trial at the beagle club. In spite of the warnings two attendees managed to get stuck and had to be towed out.
Team won both games 15/13 and 15/11. Grandson had a very good game with multiple hits/RBI , a triple play, and part of several double plays. The coach put him in to pitch to close out the first game. Princess says folks were like, 'What?'. He plays shortstop so well I predicted he would never get to pitch. He's a good pitcher, but he's an exceptional shortstop.
