King kind of went in a weird direction for a while but his newer books are more like what he used to do. The Mr. Mercedes trilogy is one of his best!

I like mysteries too...Dennis Lehane is one of my favorites, Harlan Coben, Robert Crais, they're all good too.

I like some of Harlan Coben’s.

I don’t remember the movie but I know I watched it. I never read the book and I hate spiders as much as clowns.

I'll be ok with either. But rats. No. Although, I really loved the original Willard movie. It terrified me.

The original was pretty good for a creepy movie! I liked the book too, except for the ending. The ending was kind of a let down to me, King should have stuck with the clown instead of it being a giant spider.

Such a waste of a good book! I really didn’t like the end of it at all and thought the movie was a dud too.

I was a big fan of Stephen King from high school until about 10 or 15 years ago. I just don't enjoy his newer books. Same with Koontz. I guess my taste changed. I mostly stick with mystery books. I'm enjoying Jeff Carson's "David Wolf" series, right now. The series "free" with Kindle unlimited.
