Got to take my walk to the mailbox after all, FedEx decided they where not coming up to the house. They put my replacement card in the mailbox and I wasn't going to leave it there. At least they didn't throw it on the ground like the last time.

I really dislike FedEx. I rated my experience with Gurney’s and complained about the shipping lol. Honestly I don’t think it’s Gurney’s but FedEx that has been the problem all along. My plants are healthy and doing well.

Throwing it on the ground is legal, putting it in the mailbox is not!

Was there some weather factor that would keep the FedEx driver from coming up to the house? You need to call and complain, the driver is no only not properly doing their job they are breaking the law. Only things that have been processed through the USPS can legally be put in a mailbox. Their supervisor needs to know.

DW's carrier has brought back things FedEx put in mailboxes. FedEx is then called and they have to come to the PO to pick it up for proper delivery. I'm sure the recipients were not pleased with the delay.

Our fed-ex guys and ladies are great. Our postal lady is wonderful.
UPS is horrible here. They regularly leave our neighbors packages at our rarely used, side gate, despite being told that they live more than a mile down the road.

I had to have one made up to put next to the porch door telling them to put packages in the enclosed porch. UPS always did, FedEx often did not. I once stepped on a package FedEx left right in front of the door. Not a great idea in bad weather though I suppose acceptable IF the person who finds it is coming home and will see it before they step on it.

Around here, if we’re not home when UPS or Fed Ex comes, they often just take our packages to the Post Office. We go get them when we pick up our mail for the day. Remember we have no mailboxes here in town….just the Post office. The whole town‘s population goes there to get their mail.

I'm glad we have mail boxes. Our little post office is only open 9 to 1, Monday thru Thursday!
