I believe the Princess may have you beat.

Slow and steady gets the job done. The Princess yelled at me, "You're doing too much." I listen to my body generally it's correct. For sure more so as I age.

We don't keep tame waterfowl because the eagles and hawks are so bad here. But we do have a Lot of stopovers from waterfowl.

Mark, we have an eagle sanctuary a few miles from here. The eagles don't know boundaries.

I hear you I like eagles but waterfowl more.

I took your advice but I bought an almost dead rose tree (because it was really cheap). I haven't chicken proofed it yet but when it's settled I will post a picture.

I added tea leaves before planting it with plenty of water and fed it. It's coming back to life but hope it succeeds

Yes. We have egret, whistling ducks, egyptian geese, and blue herons. The blue herons and egrets live here year round.
I had never heard of egyptian geese. I believe either you or Sour identified them for me.
