I'm just having a bit of a hard time trying to shake the feeling of sadness.

And they are all adults! Sadly I think there will be a lot of little ones soon enough if you don't get rid of them.


Which explains why we were watching 5 juvenile skunks out all day for many days 2 years ago??


I tried that at my previous house. Bought the fox urine, the bottles, hung them low on the fence. Skunks didn't care.

I sent 3 packs of 18 with DD1 and her BF last night. Still had nearly 2 dozen, not counting the 15 I collected yesterday and the remaining 14 I found in the hay bale nest a few days ago.


Maybe your weather people are looking at radar maps from January?


I really don't find them much work at all. Feed in the morning, feed in the evening, collect eggs. I will have the "clean out the coop" chore soon though but that is only twice a year.


You have to make your own appreciation food? Aren't the parents of the kids supposed to be appreciating the teachers? Especially the ones who have to deal with special needs kids that have "attitude"?


What type of camera card do you have that isn't an SD card Mark? Probably need a USB external reader.

That one has two usb-c ports. Those ports do everything! Video, storage and one of them is for charging the laptop too.

Thanks for the advice @sourland I searched the Internet and found what I believe to be the young fellow in question. I contacted the proper officials and told them everything I could remember. I saw a picture of him and it sure looked like him to me. They said if they found anything they would call me. At least I know I tried to do something even if it's not the boy. I remembered more after the fact of the dream. Only time will tell. I feel better now.

There are things we just don't know about. When my mother died I was taking all of her funeral plans to my sister (I had a must go to work meeting the next day). On the way there an image of my father entered my mind, and he said, "Dorothy, I've been waiting. What took you so long." When I returned home the Princess said to me, "The strangest thing happened when you left. I got a mental image of your father, and he said 'Dorothy, I've been waiting. What took you so long?" The image we both got was of him as a young man on the farm with a big grin on his face and a pipe in his hand - one of the pictures in a family album pictures him this way. Freaky, indeed !
