I always miss the Cumberland mountains this time of year. The mountain breezes where always so refreshing. I thought I'd move back someday, but with kids scattered from Arkansas to North and SouthTexas to Colorado, I'm pretty central to them all here.

It's been pretty nice... cool in the morning and hot in the afternoon, but with a nice cool breeze.

We are lucky, IM, we can still turn off our ac in the mornings and open the doors for a couple of hours, before it begins heating up. I'm sure that won't last for many more days.

My cats hate riding in the car. That should make things, um, interesting.

Most of our cats have hated the car. I did have one though that would sit on the dash under the front window and loved it!

I think we’re past that for now, but it hasn’t been long since I could do that. It’s ironic that we open the doors and windows in the morning to cool off the house after the a/c was on all day/night.
