DD1 was under a tornado watch in VA a few days ago. She was sad it didn't hit because she wants to see one. Me? I'm all about:

Hi Mark, me too! My brother was here last Saturday. He lives in Kansas which he says is Tornado Alley. He said he’s never seen one. Our other brother who lives about 25 miles from me had one touch down next to his place in the the storm 2.5 weeks ago. He lost a Pull Shed and his barn yesterday. The weather is just nuts!

Hi IM, thank you and it does suck. I have errands to run this morning and then clean up begins again. We get to go on a scavenger hunt for things that are gone from the shed.

DMC, I'm so sorry for what you all are going through. I wish there were some way that I could help. I hope you find everything that's missing.
 
Good afternoon everyone :frow I'll pop in when I can, spending most of June in Virginia at my daughter's house. Helping out while she works and Christian graduates from Kindergarten tomorrow and she needs someone to help watch him.

Hope everyone has a good day and the weather makes up it's mind 🤦

DMC, I’m praying for you so hard my knees are getting flat!! I’ve experienced tornadoes in Eastern South Dakota and we had one in Billings several years ago that destroyed the Metra (a convention center). We also were finishing our coop build in 2014 when a storm blew in. We watched the small tornado dancing on the ground across the street. I HATE them!!

Thanks Janie! We’ve had several neighbors stop in today offering help. My son just got home from work. He usually doesn’t get home until about 8:30. He can help his dad now. I will feel it in my leg muscles tomorrow. I got to pick up glass and take screws out of tin.
We have the guy from the lumber yard coming out tomorrow morning to figure out what we need ordered to start rebuilding. The guy that is hopefully fixing our house and garage wants to come at the same time the lumber guy is here. He built a garage for us a few years back and did a nice job.
