Hi Debby!

We finished taking it apart yesterday. It was only a 12x12. He used the skid steer to pull the base of the deck out so it went quickly. The new one will be 14x14. I would like it bigger but things are so expensive. I will just be happy to have a roof over it.

@DigMyChicks how is your DH doing today?

Pretty good. He finally took a shower which helped. He can’t get the ear wet at all.

I look forward to it too I don’t know when it will happen. It’s going to be done in a couple stages the way our contractor explained it. I thought it would be poured all at once. We have to pay for a full load each time even if we don’t get a full load. It would be nice if someone else was pouring cement by us to split the cost.

It will be nice when it's done DMC. But I don't get it, why do you have to pay for a full load even if you don't get that? Is it just to cover their time and fuel to get to your place?

I'd have them leave the "extra" concrete.
Surely there is somewhere you can use a hard lump of concrete?
