Looks like mid 90's all week. Cooling off next week. Haven't been able to get out of the house the last couple weeks, so it didn't bother me.

Nice you have some cooler weather to look forward to. If it's not too personal, why are you under house arrest?

You all know there was a time when pickup trucks were built for farm work, they all came with an 8' bed. Now you can't find one. I am saying this because my old truck went to the junk yard the frame was broke in two places. Not going to buy a new one they are high priced junk! end of story.

You need to get in touch with my oldest son. He occasionally rebuilds old trucks. He has the same attitude, referring to new vehicles as junk.
Seriously though, how will you get by without a truck?

I think part of our problem here, is that it doesn't cool down much until midnight and then the humidity starts rising. I'm looking forward to October weather. I think. No telling what fall will bring this year.

Let's hope so. We are at least lucking enough to be prepared for hot weather. I can't imagine being somewhere without air conditioning.

Hello all.

I’m finally getting to sit down. I baked 3 dozen cutout cookies for a 1st birthday party and then I canned 10 pints of green beans. I shut the air off as it created a lot of heat. I’m making scalloped potatoes and ham for supper so the air might just as well stay off until morning.
