I’m hoping our contractor gets things done this weekend. He starts another job on Monday. When he’s done with that, he’ll come back and fix our damaged shed and put our new door on the house.

There's a thread out here where they talk about "driver assist" I don't want a computer second guessing me ever! AI/ML has it's advantages in a number of applications, but it's something that can go terribly wrong in the wrong application.

Our 2011 Ford Escape has electric power steering. We have not had any problems with it.

I have mixed feelings about an autonomous car of any kind.
I hate not being in control, however as age advances, and reflexes and vision deteriorate, I think I'd like a car that chauffeured me around and talked to me, too. A good tour guide/ driver would be awesome.
