Another one! This one was in the tub. Smaller, but still scary. He/she drowned. I felt sorry for it, but survival of the fittest, or at least the one, with opposable thumbs.

We are having some severe storms right now. It has been raining and drizzling all morning. Now it's pouring.
A dead tree from the neighboring woods, fell in the back chicken yard. The gate was closed to that area, so no one was injured.

Things are definitely more exciting in your part of the world today Janie...stay safe!

Sorry you’ve been sick Janie, but glad you’re on the mend!

I’m currently waiting on an at home Covid test to finish cooking, the teenager hasn’t been sick in a long time but something got him shortly after school started.
The new guidelines say to take the test three days in a row.

Long story short though my liver numbers were pretty high so they retested and still high so then they did an ultrasound and found the liver and kidneys were enlarged and I had some urine backing up into my kidneys so I’ve had all sorts of tests, more ultrasounds, etc. trying to find out why. Today I find out if I need more tests or if we just forget it since I have no symptoms. Also I finally got put on Metformin in June for diabetes since my sugar had been climbing for a while. I’ve also been in and out of hospitals and doctors the last five months for various mental health things too and trying various meds. Just started a new one a couple weeks ago that so far seems to work way better. So yeah.
You have a lot going on :hugs Glad you’re getting the diabetes under control, I hope everything else falls in line too.
