The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning DMC, hope you find what you need in Menards (such nice stores, I miss them)!

Morning Janie, hope your day is off to a good start!

Good morning IM, nice you'll have your own car again. How are we going to keep you off the streets now?

Good morning Mark:frow If you make the coop more convenient to the house, it will be easier on you, you have all winter to plan!

Good morning Sour, how is everything going for you and yours?

Good morning Bob, hope you have a terrific Saturday!
Guess I’m having technical issues this morning

You should see the way people drive here. We have a freeway with the number 101; people think that’s the minimum speed limit on it. Go slower, like say 75 which is over the limit, and you’ll get run off the road.

Yikes!

I'd probably get run over then, I figure that's one law there's no excuse to break because it's clearly spelled out. Not like those vague ones that you have to be a lawyer to figure out :gig

Good morning, DMC.
Whether you do it yourself, or have a contractor lay your flooring, I'm sure it will be beautiful.
Have a safe shopping trip.
Good morning Janie, thank you, and I hope so 😊
Good morning all. I went to the store the other day and looked at the price of eggs, I had to clean out my pants when I got home. When we rehomed our flock, we should have kept a few for eggs,:duc I guess. I sure do miss them. Our whole problem was we had far too many. When the boys caged them, they said we had 14 all this time I thought we had twelve.
Hi Mark! I wish I still had my chickens also…$7.89 for an 18 count. I work with someone that gives us eggs. I have to buy in between times though.
Good morning.
Hi Sour!
Good morning folks :frow

Hi Debby, thanks! We just got loaded. What I needed was on clearance. I picked up a couple extra just in case.

I would get run over too Debby

This is my ideal way to move on!
I see it is legal here in Vermont. I wonder what people do with 400 pounds of material if they don't have a decent size yard.

He didn’t want 4x8 as it will be difficult to lay in the hallway. Really, I wanted to say? I told him we have saws.
Every floor he has worked on is divisible by 4'x5' sections? Never needed to cut anything?

We are capable of doing it, but hubby does not want to as it’s such a big space.
Seems like 4'x8' sheets would be less work than 4'x5's ;)

How much were they? Even at the Farmer's Market here eggs sell for $4/dozen, $6/18. Same price I charge when my hens are laying ..... which they aren't now and won't be until late February.

Like the red octagons that have the word STOP written on them? Those seem to be terribly difficult for people to understand.

I stay pretty close to the posted speed most of the time
Unless there is more than minimal traffic, and people can easily go around, I do 55 MPH on the interstate. I'm not in that big a hurry and 10 MPH more means 10% more fuel used. Those doing 75 MPH are using 20% more fuel. I don't suppose anyone complaining about the price of gas considers this. If there is traffic I do speed limit.
