Unless things change, it doesn't look like we'll have a problem here (knock on wood). All the models are showing it staying east of where we are. We'll keep an eye on things though!

What, one of your cakes go to waste?!? Not around here it wouldn't

The story of my cake...I was going to bake a cake, but the oven is severely uneven and DH hasn't had a chance to balance it out yet. So I went to the grocery store to buy ingredients to make tiramisu but they didn't have mascarpone or lady fingers. I ended up buying a small one from the store bakery and it's horrible. Some day there will be cake here (just not right now)

That's the sort of thing that seems to happen mostly on special occasions and holidays. Guess we need to sneak up on baking for those things, and don't let the appliances know what we're up to.
