I'm back and pretty proud of myself for navigating to a new place in another town by myself. Even with the navigational thing in the car, paper maps and the directions on my phone, I get lost more often than not.

Not today! And I found a wonderful place for breakfast the next time I have to go back.

That's the win for my day :lol:

I can't tell you how many times I've gotten lost. I've seen beautiful sights that I would have never seen otherwise. I've also found myself in some places I'll never go back to again. Those "oh good lord I'm going to get murdered" places are the worst!
I'm glad you found a new breakfast dive!

That’s definitely a win! Glad you’re home safely.

It takes a while to get used to new terrain, the only reason I didn’t get lost here much is because the Phoenix metro area is divided by Central with avenues on the west side and streets on the east side. If the numbers weren’t going in the right direction it was time to make a u turn :lol:

My ex used to laugh about how I could get lost in our 3acre yard. As much as I hate to give him credit for being right about anything, he was right about that.

Like the time I was following a team school bus home from a wresting tournament my son was in and the bus disappeared down the highway. I ended up in a pitch black pasture in the middle of no where. Thankfully, there were no killer cows in the area. It's funny now, but scary then
