A coworker asked if I wanted some eggs, I said yes. I didn’t ask how many. I should have. Her dad is a substitute teacher and brings us eggs on a regular basis. He’s been in the hospital…found that out yesterday. Apparently eggs have backed up. There are a lot of poopy eggs. I had poopy eggs once in awhile but never like this…236 eggs.

I have cleaned one basket like that before-- I had a commercial cleaner for eggs that you put into water-- a 5 gallon bucket would work. There is also a smaller version sold, I think, by manna pro?

If you have a dehydrator, consider dehydrating them if you cannot use that many in a month or so.

Is it safe to clean the eggs in water?I have spot cleaned and put them in the fridge. I have no room right now. I bought a box with 7.5 dozen eggs at Sam’s on Monday. I did not know I was getting these. I don’t think I’d care for dehydrated eggs.
