Thanks, it’s a loss for the school for sure. He loved teaching. My boys both had him. He was a good person.
This picture is from our trip to the planetarium last year with the 3rd grade kids. Rebels in the back seat
He has about 40 chickens. I wonder if they will rehome them because none of his family have that chicken itch.

Our substitute teacher passed away last night. He had 4 strokes after his surgery. He never did make it back to Minnesota. I work with his daughter. His wife is also a substitute teacher. He retired but never quit teaching. He will be missed.
On Friday we got called to the office for a meeting about our TOSA…teacher on special assignment…we don’t have a principal anymore. His mom is on hospice and his dad was a caretaker for her. He had a heart attack on Thursday night and died.
It will be a somber week coming up.

They're cute little guys but messy. Chickens aren't the only birds that spill food, drop feathers everywhere and have dander. Good thing they are cute!

A cute little cat was on my back porch earlier. It ran when I opened the door. It is a beautiful gray tabby with very short legs, like Junapurr's. I'm guessing it is related. Maybe another wild thing, that needs adopting.

They're cute little guys but messy. Chickens aren't the only birds that spill food, drop feathers everywhere and have dander. Good thing they are cute!

I have a chickie bird that is indoors at night. She stays out all day, but she comes in, in the afternoon. She is such a cry baby at 7 weeks old. She thinks I'm mama. I'm hoping she will be ok with other birds someday.

Oh the drama! Stella is out there letting the whole neighborhood know someone else is taking FOREVER to lay their egg and it’s her turn! Never mind that other nest box, she wants that one.
