I am working but I will sneak out to see nature a couple of times today.

I will take a long walk through the Arboretum this morning. Lake Spafford(really a pond) should have some cormorants and ducks there. Sometimes there are some geese. You never know where the turkey flock is though. I did see them on my way into work this morning in one of the parking lots.

We have mostly moved from severe drought to normal drought-- from dark orange on the map to yellow. I did not see any green yet but there is an increased water delivery for farmers.

There will be an re evaluation in April. Hopefully the farmers will get more water this year.

Wells will take several years of good rain to recharge though.
