Look at the size of this blue Jay! Our Jays usually aren't this large. These big ones are more aggressive too. The chickens do not care for them.

Looks like the ones we have here. Just because you are in Texas dont mean you have bigger Jays! I wouldn't worry unless they start breeding with you hens.
