Have you grown strawberries before? We grew them a couple of years when we had our little farm. They never got very big, but they were probably the tastiest berries ever.

I haven’t grown strawberries since I was a kid, but I remember them being much better than the grocery store options. I grew up primarily in So Cal and we used to get strawberries right from the farm and they were always the best. My mom said she always got good berries there so she quit growing them. Let someone else do all the work was her motto.

Fresh from the farm or garden is always better than stuff shipped from somewhere it is in season.

I'll bet that your house is never dirty by average standards.
My own "disaster" standards have relaxed a lot in the last few years- I can't see the dirt and cobwebs as well!

Oh I'd love to help. Packing up other people stuff is so much more interesting than your own!

Trust me, it was a disaster. I just got my dishes done from last night. I still haven’t made my bed. The second load of laundry is in the washer. I’m hoping to get one more done.

Last weekend there was a Deputy Sheriff killed and 2 other officers injured in a domestic violence call. He lived about 45 miles from here. On our way to the town we were shopping in we met miles of police cars. I’ve never seen anything like it. It brought tears to my eyes. We were out for supper the night he was killed for our son’s birthday. It happened not to far from where we were eating. It is so incredibly sad.

He was too young and he died on his birthday.
