No, there is no charm in them.
This is my home growing up. I hadn’t seen it in 30 years. The person that bought it let my sisters and I go in and look at it. What a disaster. The basement was solid mold. This is the style that I would choose or a Victorian…big and drafty. I love the woodwork. There used to be a balcony above the the entryway with the cement steps. The yellow bedroom was mine before we moved to Appleton.

That's the style I would choose too, if I were younger, didn't mind constant maintenance and a money pit. Lol. Those houses have so much more character, but I'm better off admiring them from afar!

If I ever got the chance to build a new house I would build it like this one. Good thing for dreams
